"I contacted Diane when there was a very special young woman who would not leave my mind. We had been friends for a short while and had been spending some time outside of work together. After learning more and more about this woman, I grew more and more infatuated with her.
I wanted to tell her how I felt but knew I could only tell her in person. So in order to capture her attention, I had Diane hand scribe an invitation for her to have a picnic with me at my farm which is about an hour outside of Toronto. Somehow, through luck, fate, destiny or karma, I was with her when she received the invitation in the mail.I got to witness first hand her "breathe being taken away" when her eyes laid on the invitation and she gasped. At first, she thought it was a wedding invitation, but when she read who it was from, her pretty eyes gently lifted and laid upon me...she certainly got the message.
I cannot thank Diane enough for helping me make this priceless moment happen. Watching her eyes light up made it worth the extra effort to show her that I care. Perhaps someday, I will hire Diane to do the calligraphy for our wedding invitations."
